They make a pact to visit every star that they can see in the night sky – together, of course, because why would they ever choose to part? The two of them are soulmates, after all, destinies twisted around each other, literally inseparable on a deep, innate (and rather poorly-understood) cosmic level.
The Doctor (who still isn’t) picks a star at random and points up at it. “That one first,” he announces.
The Master (who also isn’t) shakes his head and points to a different star on the other of the sky. “That one,” he counters.
They glare at each other for a moment and then they begin to laugh (of course together, at exactly the same time). It doesn’t matter if they disagree on the details, because their names are sunk into each other’s skin, bold and unmistakable, and everyone knows what that means.
(It doesn’t occur to either of them that every rule has an exception, even though both of them tend to thrive on that very fact.)
The Doctor continues to help Magnus as he runs around trying to help gods in a desperate attempt to make sure the world doesn't end.
While on the trail of a mysterious distress signal, Team TARDIS find themselves stranded, lost, and separated across universes. Which is an oddly familiar situation, all things considered! But that’s not the only familiar thing.
It’s time to catch up with some old friends.
Jack has needs. No, not that kind of needs.
Renata has survived her illness and regenerated. With everything seemingly put behind them, she and the new Doctor decide to give themselves a chance but will they last? What with newcomer Amy Pond, Dr. Song lurking by - claiming things from the future - and Renata's belief in her inability to change for the better, things might not be looking so great for her and the Doctor. *2nd in the Home Saga.
Prompt: A work from your first fandomWhat do you do when you’re driving your vintage Bentley and then suddenly it is, through no fault of your own, on fire?
Miles Edgeworth isn't totally sure how he ended up in this bet to demonstrate the strength of his and Phoenix Wright's (entirely professional and platonic! really!) relationship, but he knows it's Klavier's fault.
It's not until the final resolution of DL-6 that Miles realizes how faded his world had become - visually speaking, that is.
(An exploration that begins with colour, continues with grey-scale, then fluctuates between the two, but which mostly focuses on the paths between and the people who accompany him on the way.)
At the start of April 2001 Manfred von Karma has a lapse of judgement and spends twenty minutes of passion with Gregory Edgeworth. Somehow that got Edgeworth pregnant, but the man doesn't find out sooner than 6 months in.
Okay, good, are we all clear that in this fic a man who should not be able to get pregnant and does not have a womb gets pregnant and has to deal with everything that entrails? That's what the Mpreg tag means, I've now blatantly said it out loud too. So if you decide to be judgy and clutch your pearls in the comments, do it about something else.
On a particular Thursday when he was a child, Miles Edgeworth's life changed forever. What happens when he undoes that Thursday, with the events of another?
A time-travel story where Miles saves his dad, but has to deal with a different set of consequences. Some things, it seems, you can’t run away from.
It wasn't supposed to be like this. It wasn't supposed to end like this. Everything has gone wrong. Everything has gone so, so, so wrong. But it isn't as if it is Godot's fault that everything went so horribly wrong.
(It is his fault. It's all his fault.)
(Perhaps the blood on his hands will never wash away. It's no less than he deserves.)
It all starts with a game of Never Have I Ever.
Maybe that’s not where it starts (after all, Phoenix has been in love with Miles Edgeworth for about twenty-five years at this point, even if he’s only known it for the last ten or so), but that’s where it all goes off the rails.
Midway through the game, Ema folds her arms and says with a smirk, "Never have I ever been in love."
“Ooh, that’s a good one,” Trucy says amid the mass sighing, mild complaining, and drinking. Phoenix drinks, of course, in honor of the twenty-five-year torch he’s been carrying for Miles, who will of course assume that Phoenix is thinking of Dahlia, and all will be right with the world. Except—
Miles fucking Edgeworth looks even more embarrassed than he has all night and takes a drink.
What in God's name is going on.
Prompt: a fic between 1-5k'The front end was crushed, the tree directly in the middle, making what looked like an incredibly morbid sandwich. All of the windows were shattered, scattering broken glass around the scene, and a deflated airbag that had made its way through the windshield flew up and down in the wind like a vengeful ghost. The smell of smoke was drifting faintly around the car, but it had mostly cleared up, which was both a relief and a terrifying indication that the car had, in fact, been there since the earthquake.'
-----------
Or: An earthquake-induced flashback causes Miles Edgeworth to run his car into a tree. Unsurprisingly, this creates a few problems.

“Didn’t you hear?” Her eyes dart around. “There was a break-in at 216 Gardenport street last night.”
She stares at her. “What are you talking about, child?”
“I mean, the guy who had this job before me blew it. His keycard pinged every entryway down Southside then back here again. They found him just sitting here last night, like nothing was up.”
“Well… My, I must say, I’m surprised. I suppose he must have seen all those Printies and got overexcited.” She sighs. “I hope they don’t go too hard on him. Going no-penny’s a death sentence, after all.”
Two surveillance officers keep watch over a quiet part of a city.

When you are dyslexic, a ‘stack of books with legs’ is a logical partner. Kirk thinks the most romantic sentence in the English language is "Let me help”, but Spock knows it is “Let me read to you”... even if he has a habit of falling asleep.
Or: Kirk reads to Spock in bed.
“Let me help.”
Jim takes Spock’s face in his hands and kisses him gently. Soft, open-mouthed kisses to coax the poison out of him. Spock claws at his shirt, shivering uncontrollably as he veers backwards, and hands catch him. He turns his head, chest and stomach heaving as he spits a flower to the ground.
He tries to flee, to bolt like a horse from the stable, but those same hands reassure him, holding him tight.
“What was the plan?” Jim teases, gently. “Were you going to avoid us for the remainder of our five-year mission?”
The Away Team contract something unusual on an away mission. Jim could probably survive it, if only Sulu didn't love things with thorns.
Following the events of Resurrection, Kira and Sisko come to some realizations about how they feel for one another.
What it says on the tin.
In which Spock gets overwhelmed, sehlats make awesome beds, and this family is having a functional moment (for once!)
During an argument, Spock decides to take Bones literally.
Kirk is sad to wake up to an empty bed, but Spock returns to surprise him.

Problem is, Obi-Wan is already there.
In Tatooine legend, the sandstorm is Lukka, the Fury, both cleansing and damning. Lukka, the slaves believed, was Justice, was he who remade the world, and remade the soul.
The storm screams at him, and Obi-Wan Kenobi screams back.

Four years after Order 66 and the fall of the Jedi Order, a grieving, struggling Ben Kenobi finds himself inexplicably taken back in time.
Zuko realizes his destiny much earlier. As in, as soon as he wakes up in the palace after his Agni Kai and is told he is banished. Unfortunately, he's never been a patient one. So he storms right up to Ozai and tells him what he's going to do. And gets locked up for over three years. Then, one day, he's being pulled out and told he's the new Fire Lord.
A "Zuko never meets the Gaang and suddenly becomes Fire Lord after three years of literal torture" AU. In which the Gaang doesn't know what to think of the new Fire Lord who happens to be the missing nephew of Aang's firebending teacher, Iroh constantly has a headache, and, sure, maybe the world hates the Fire Nation, but the Fire Nation LOVES Zuko, and he can work with that.

Reaching consensus on where to go for dinner takes a while. Fred and Laliari keep themselves amused.
Aziraphale, as it turns out, is extraordinarily bad at executing Crowley’s demonic tasks for him.
After the events of Rise From the Ashes, Miles Edgeworth contemplates the life of a prosecutor.
Some legends are told; for that is, of course, how they become legends in the first place. Some legends prevail over the test of time, outlasting their subjects for years, centuries, even millennia. Some legends, however, are not so lucky. For one reason or another, these legends become mere stories scattered through time; rumors at best, and entirely forgotten at worst.
This is the legend that was not told, until now. This is the true story of the man known today as the Evil Magistrate—but what history forgets is that he, too, was once a man like any other. He loved, and lost, and at the very end where it mattered most, he too fought for great justice.
Or: Miles Edgeworth decides to write fanfiction.

Toward the end of the third world war, George and Winona Kirk bring an alien infant into their home and raise her as their own son's twin. In time, events larger than all of them break the family apart, and Jimmy Kirk and his sister Jackie must make their way across a degraded American landscape in hopes of reuniting with their mother. They are joined along the way by other young people in need of a safe place to call home.
Jadzia raised an eyebrow. “Still in the denial phase then?”
Nerys’ shoulders slumped. “No,” she said. “I’ve actually passed into acceptance that first night after I moved out of their quarters.” Nerys bit her lip, thinking. “My quarters were too quiet. There was no Keiko getting up to get a glass of water, no Miles snoring. No Molly sneaking out of bed to climb between her parents.”
“Oh, Nerys,” Jadzia said, pushing the french fries out of the way so she could grasp Nerys’ hand, gently squeezing it.
Normally, Tilly would mind ending up in this situation a whole lot more.

Temporarily posted to Earth, Spock finds old problems coming to haunt him.

Trapped in adjoining cells, Jim and Spock comfort (and sing to) each other as they await rescue.
"If he is not mistaken, his head is currently residing on Jim's lap. A great many things factor into this analysis. First; Jim's hand is still in his hair. Second, a vague, beige blob- which he's 97% certain is Jim's face- ebbs in and out of his vision. At present, it is upside down and blurry, but nevertheless, a very nice face."
Tuvok reassures his daughter that worrying about a monster under her bed is illogical, but she has more to say on the matter.
Obi-Wan narrowed his eyes. "Who are you?" He asked, hoping a direct question would yield answers. The old man seemed adept at side-stepping information when asked a bit more deftly. “I’ve never heard of a Master with your level of talent.”
The old man seemed surprised. “If you’ve never heard of one like me, then what good would my name be? You wouldn’t know it.”
Obi-Wan felt a flare of irritation, and quickly squashed it. The old man blinked, as if he hadn’t expected to feel that, and he smiled, sadly. “My name is Luke,” he said, as if a peace offering.
The force trilled in his ear, and Obi-Wan frowned. "Luke what?" He asked, and the old man, this Luke, smiled wryly.
"Luke Skywalker.”
