I've seen fannish spreadsheets used for other things too, like GYWO and many others, but I have lost track of having to do it myself.
Maybe a few people might want concrit, but I get that people may be averse to having something they do for fun ripped apart, which is why I would have an 'opt in' box. They can just as easily say no. I don't know about the not wanting comments, but I'm not surprised. Sometimes, it just takes away the pressure- of expectation and of replying. To each their own.
