Round 1 Prize Claiming

The round is ending soon (at the end of today the 3rd for whatever timezone you are in) and this is the place where you can claim a prize banner. I will do my best to get to all of them as quickly as possibly.

To claim a prize, comment with the following info:

1. your username that you want on the banner
2. the type of bingo(s) you accomplished
3. a link to your card

Yeah, I knew people would miss the post, which is why I put the link in the sign-up post too. And I don't have the time to check the comments so I o by the honor system.

The banners were a little delayed because I have admittedly limited graphic skills and I spent a lot of time trying to find an appropriate image, and this was just the best I could do without making people wait more. And I didn't want to bother anyone, but I do take volunteers, with much appreciation. If you have the time and/or interest, I would definitely accept templates/any help. I will bring it up in Snowflake too! That's a good idea. Thank you for that!

It's all good, I turned on tracking for the mod posts now (thank you for using tags! they are so helpful!), and think this will help me. Also, the deadline is at the end of the month this time, so I'm sure I'll be able to remember it.

I'll see what I can do! <3 I can definitely make you a few images. (I'm sure the results from Snowflake will be better than what I can come up with. :) But I guess the more the merrier!)

What program are you currently using to make the banners? I can try and make templates in that, would that be more helpful than images? It's the first time I'm doing this for someone else, so I'm not quite sure where to start. :D

Oh, nice! I am glad the tags are helpful. I like to be organized and it helps me keep track too. And your suggestion for the end of the month date was a good one.

I used Canva (normally I go with that or GIMP but Canva has better fonts and I don't want to download a bunch), because they're free and easy to use. But you can go with whatever you want, because I can just save the image and then add the text wherever. And I'm even less experienced than you so you are more than welcome to do what you do for yourself!

I don't know Canva, so I just made pngs.

I made two banners you can download and add text to. I tried to prepare the most common types so you only have to add the username. I also added empty versions so you can use them for later rounds or banners with more than one line on it.

I used Fujiyama on the first one, which is a common font, I think? The second one is Aurora, which I hope is also not too hard to match.

It's just a website that you can create graphics on. I find it useful for land comm stuff since I'm such an amateur.
